decent progress today, finished implementing the first enemy type… definitely makes the game more difficult, hah.
i also stated work on the UI, by creating custom 9-sliced sprites i rendered from hi-res geometry made in Maya and composited in Photoshop. i created a panel and a button for now and am going to get started building the actual menu system tomorrow.
for now i put the panel in behind the game over and score text as a sort of background. i made them red for now… trying to make up mind about the text itself, i need a better font and color.
