sporadic progression

have only been able to manage to be productive every other week or so. today was the first day i felt like I worked a real day all year the terrain for planet 3 is almost done after around one full day’s work, just the baking left to do, but I have many adjustments that are still pending testing still really difficult to make myself play the game to test things.

i think i need to start documenting more things in this log… working on the second terrain and i realised i couldn’t really remember the exact workflow i used, just a couple notes on the polygon count that were actually misleading after digging into the old project files.

terrestrial research

been looking into procedurally generating desert landscapes and generally brushing up on my terrain skills in general. hard to believe i was already two versions behind when i made the landstrip for the first planet haven’t discovered anything immediately useful, but maybe something i can put to use for one of the later planets
