started work on the enemy ship for the second planet. took the time to go ahead and select designs for the rest of what i have planned for the game plenty of assets to art up still while I’m happily awaiting feedback. i think i needed a break from the programming and game dev for a spell. getting back to modeling felt clunky, but it has been awhile. it always looks like a total turd at first, i hate it. even knowing it will work out in the end, i still feel like i spend too much time just tumbling around and sizing up spatial relationships… maybe it’s a necessary part of the process. working from top down only necessitates a lot of figuring for the profile view. i should bring my other ships in as reference layers to make sure I’m using similar metrics for different types of features. goal for friday is to have the hi-res subDiv done
