been working on the boss ship 2 model, hi-res almost done changed out my learning.regiment from Unity’s artificial intelligence course to an intro to the ML-Agents package, the hummingbirds. it seems to incorporate new solutions to traditional AI problems, which should keep my brain seeking and growing, while potentially finding some new behavior for an enemy or possibly balancing out some mechanics for the game time will tell, but i feel the influx of new ideas, practices and technologies to be crucial to developing
future summary for self: having trouble getting people to play test and am concerned with gameplay balance issues. also, in promotion of personal development, i wish to incorporate some of the new ideas a recent seminar on machine learning haa given me for the project. it is my hope the ML-Agents package can help me balance aspects of the gameplay and I speculate that perhaps new and interesting behavior for enemies or hazards can be found with machine learning principle and theory.
TLDR: i kinda wasn’t doing my regiment, because the course i picked was old, maybe? most of the artificial intelligence course’s algorithms seemed based on euclidean geometry and fears of antiquated or historical learning were beginning to creep into my mind. so many intriguing articles regarding machine and reinforcement learning seem to be permeating the news lately and it has been on my “next” list of subjects for an extensible period of time so maybe a bit of a two birds, one missile situation, maybe a partial gamble time tells all and he’s a raspy truth of barb tongue
