what a rough day i remember it being tricky to go back and forth between scripting backend types (mono, IL2CPP) and needing the internet to do so, but I don’t recall having so many problems! maybe it is partially due to changing carriers and configurations, but it took all day to setup that simple 3-hit kills at level 1 build after failing numerous Gradle builds, i think i solved the issue. a dedicated device is required to provide internet to my development computer that is independent from the device you’re trying to build to. an internet connection seems absolutely essential for the first build after changing the scripting backend or target system architecture the issue was possibly caused when updating the java SDK to target API 29 as per Google Play’s new minimum specification and I vaguely remember having to find a way to get the iPhone USB internet connection working when I submitted my last app bundle to comply with policy updates, but for some reason this was a struggle next time, just have the second device for Internet. maybe I should invest in a WiFi card for the PC, but I’ve been having to move the new router around my room quite a bit, seemingly with the weather I wasn’t even really thinking I was officially resuming development yet, but maybe it should be more gradual and less officiated
