after a bit of first hand experience during my time away from the project with difficulty level, I have decided that a traditional system is indeed needed for my own game. essentially, it is just the normal “easy, medium, hard” setup with alternative labeling, but it should make everything more accessible for a wider audience and that is the whole point of difficulty, I suppose I have learned. I started writing the implementation today, but spent an even greater time setting up panels and animators and such side note, it had been awhile since I modelled a human from scratch, so I started one to use as the final boss; shake things up a bit from the machines. progress is going smoothly, mainly because my references seem to be well crafted added a skip button for the dialogue, in case people like to die quickly and numerously. needs further testing, but was fairly simple to construct. extracted a few lines into a method and used it to create another for the button’s onclick function
