entered another phase of indecision shop system seems to work, although it still needs UI animation the gameplay itself also needs balancing; to address this i have begun leaning on my favorite pillar of design philosophy, research!

terrestrial research

been looking into procedurally generating desert landscapes and generally brushing up on my terrain skills in general. hard to believe i was already two versions behind when i made the landstrip for the first planet haven’t discovered anything immediately useful, but maybe something i can put to use for one of the later planets

little bit of saturday work

i guess it was bugging the crap out of me, no pun intended, so i ended up fixing the inventory issue i was having in build turns out, for whatever reason the old saveData was invalid.

shop alpha and item use

i guess the shop is now in alpha stage, ready for testing. it still needs animation, but that will come with beta. buying and selling seem to work had problems serializing a list of item class, then i realised that its normal, i guess?
