modal window done; audio controller implemented

the model window is done and seems to be functioning properly. i even adjusted it a bit to allow for an even more generic version with no buttons and just text that i can use for my ready and game over panels.

been working on a generic sort of window/panel for a few days now.

autofire glitch, really really fixed this time

i realised that somehow when i thought i fixed my autofire glitch i had going on, i also made the player uncontrollable during the ready phase at the start of each level.

restless night turned early morning

i felt like i got a good amount done yesterday, so i am not sure why sleep was so elusive last night. i even squashed the automatic fire glitch i was getting upon level restart after player death.
