bare bones menu/pause implemented
i feel like a lot of progress has occured since my last DevLog. i have been working on the menu system for my game and have a rudimentary build already playable on my phone.

i feel like a lot of progress has occured since my last DevLog. i have been working on the menu system for my game and have a rudimentary build already playable on my phone.
Moredecent progress today, finished implementing the first enemy type… definitely makes the game more difficult, hah. i also stated work on the UI, by creating custom 9-sliced sprites i rendered from hi-res geometry made in Maya and composited in Photoshop.
Morespent some time learning the Unity particle system Shuriken… its really not THAT much different from what i was used to from Unreal Engine 3 in college. i created the player and enemy engine fx.
Moretextured the entire first enemy ship in less than a day. very impressed with Substance Painter.
More
